Karl opted to debut the cruise collection in Venice due to Mademoiselle Coco's love for the city. She instantly fell head over heels for Venice the first time setting her foot in Venice. This voyage was made in an attempt to palliate the pain she felt after her lover, Boy Capel lost his life to a motorcycle accident.

Although he was not much of a faithful lover to coco, we should be thankful for he was the financier in opening Chanel's first stores and was also mademoiselle coco's inspiration.

Also, i completely love the music used in the cruise show. Sort of a dramatic chic parisian spring romance kinda vibe. Its from this really cool group called "SALM" (something ala mode). The first song's called 'rondo parisiano' and is my favourite so far.
